Russia tells US to mind its own business on Ukraine arms shipments

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday told US Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan that the United States should "mind its own business" when it comes to Ukraine arms shipments.

Lavrov's comments came after Sullivan met with him to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Sullivan reportedly told Lavrov that the United States is "deeply concerned" about the reports of Russia sending arms to separatists in eastern Ukraine.

Lavrov responded by accusing the United States of hypocrisy, saying that Washington has been "supplying arms to Ukraine for years." He also said that the United States should not be "lecturing" Russia on how to conduct its foreign policy.

The United States has been providing military assistance to Ukraine since 2014, when Russia annexed the Crimean Peninsula. The US has also imposed sanctions on Russia in response to its actions in Ukraine.

The conflict in Ukraine has been ongoing since 2014, when pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine launched a rebellion against the Ukrainian government. The conflict has killed more than 10,000 people and displaced millions.

The United States and Russia have been at odds over Ukraine for years. The two countries have been unable to reach an agreement on a peaceful resolution to the conflict.

Lavrov's comments on Wednesday suggest that Russia is not interested in cooperating with the United States on Ukraine. This could further escalate the conflict in Ukraine.
